POWERTRAIN
We manufacture fluid-carrying lines for the international automotive industry. Our product portfolio includes solutions for oil, water and ventilation management within the powertrain. In addition, we produce highly integrated functional components made from thermoplastic materials for a wide range of applications.
Fluid lines must meet strict flow and mechanical requirements. External influences – such as engine vibrations or road surface impacts – must not impair functionality or damage surrounding components. Imperial Auto Germany GmbH takes full responsibility for the highest product quality and ensures this standard throughout the entire value chain and production process.
MEDIA-CONVEYING PIPES
Oil
Our oil lines ensure that the turbocharger is well supplied with oil within the context of engine management. We develop the components ourselves and manufacture resilient products so as to ensure that the high requirements regarding impermeability, temperature resistance and fatigue strength are always met.
WATER
Coolant pipes have to live up to the challenging current and mechanical requirements in a temperature range of -40°C to 135°C. They for example connect the water pump and the thermostat casing.
AIR
Secondary air systems are used in combustion engines charged by exhaust gas turbo chargers. Using a secondary air pump, air is sucked from the environment and fed into the exhaust gas tract in a controlled manner through our pipes.
THERMOPLASTICS AND ELASTOMERS
Due to their diversity, thermoplastics are constantly used in new, innovative contexts. Plastics can essentially be “tailor-made” for almost any use case. Compact injection moulding for thermoplastics allows meeting also the most demanding requirements.
